Vinous – Neil Martin – 90-92/100
The 2020 La Dame de Montrose has a dense bouquet of blackberry,
bilberry, black olive and a light brine-like aroma. The palate is mediumbodied with grippy tannins, a slightly chalky texture and fine acidity on the
saline finish. Not quite as silky as the 2019, but there is plenty of energy
here.
Vinous – Antonio Galloni – 91-93/100
The 2020 Gloria is impressive. Bright and punchy, yet quintessentially
medium in body, Gloria impresses for its exceptional balance. Sweet red
cherry, blood orange, mint, white pepper and rose petal give this bright,
chiseled Saint-Julien so much character. Gloria is such a pretty and inviting
Saint-Julien. Tasted two times.
Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – 92-94/100
Opaque purple-black colored, the 2020 Gloria comes soaring out of the glass with notes of blackcurrant cordial, preserved plums and blueberry compote, followed by suggestions of powdered cinnamon, cedar chest and menthol, plus a waft of graphite. The medium to full-bodied palate is completely coated with juicy black fruits, framed by grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and spicy.
Vinous – Neil Martin – 89-91/100
The 2020 Les Fiefs de Lagrange has a ripe, well-defined bouquet of
blackberry, boysenberry, crushed stone and light violet petals scents; good
focus here. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead
of acidity, beautiful balance and a charming, fleshy and quite saline finish.
This will represent great value, I am sure

The 2020 Echo de Lynch Bages is fabulous. A compelling second wine,
Echo offers all the aromatic sensuality, red fruit and silkiness of the Grand
Vin, but in an open-knit style that can be enjoyed upon release. All the
elements are so impeccably balanced. Everything about the 2020 speaks
to class and refinement.
Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – 90-92/100
The 2020 Croix Canon is a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, aging for 18 months in French oak, 30% new. It weighs in with 14.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.53. Deep garnet-purple colored, it drifts out of the glass with alluring scents of plum preserves, blueberry pie and mulberries, plus touches of potpourri, Chinese five spice and fallen leaves. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of juicy black and blue fruits, supported by plush tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long and spicy.
Vinous – Antonio Galloni – 89-91/100
The 2020 Croix Canon is bright and perfumed right out of the bottle.
There’s not a ton of structure here, but then again, this is a second wine.
Crushed red berries, mint, rose petal, cedar and a touch of blood orange
give the 2020 lovely complexity. This is very nicely done. I expect it will be a
lovely mid-term drinker.
Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – 88-90/100
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 De Sales opens with bright, cheery scents of Morello cherries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly, plus suggestions of lavender, wild sage and Sichuan pepper. The medium-bodied palate is laden with crunchy red fruit with herbal accents and a lively line of freshness, finishing chewy and herbal laced.
Vinous – Antonio Galloni – 91-93/100
The 2020 Clos René is compelling from the very first taste. A burst of ripe
dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice, chocolate and lavender gives the 2020 so
much allure, while soft curves and silky tannins add to its immeasurable
appeal. Expressive, but most importantly, flat-out delicious.

The 2020 Clos Floridène is a powerful, driving wine. Bright and punchy in
the glass, the 2020 has plenty of energy, all propped up by a spine of
tannin that lends energy. Floral and savory accents add perfume over
time. It will be interesting to see if the 2020 softens with élevage.

The 2020 Chasse-Spleen offers attractive wild strawberry, blackberry and
rose petal scents on the nose, which is well defined and very cohesive. The
palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, a smooth
texture and cedar and leather notes infusing the red fruit. I am just
seeking a little more backbone and grip on the finish of this ChasseSpleen, although it should still give 15–20 years of drinking pleasure.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Citran charges out of the glass with bold scents of crushed redcurrants, black raspberries and cassis, plus wafts of dried Provence herbs and damp soil. The medium-bodied palate delivers lovely freshness with a chewy texture supporting the red berry and savory flavors, finishing with an herbal lift.
50% Vermentino, 20% Roussanne, 20% Marsanne 10% Viognier

The 2018 Fugue de Nénin has come together since I tasted it en primeur.
At the time, it showed more vegetal notes and harder edges. Happily,
those issues seem to have resolved themselves. Today, the 2018
possesses lovely fleshiness and depth, with a firm spine of tannin that
ensures at least a decade of fine drinking.
Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – 90/100
A blend of 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Fugue de Nenin came in at 14.4% alcohol. Deep garnet-purple colored, it has an exuberant nose of crushed black and red cherries, plums preserves and blueberry pie with hints of lavender, bouquet garni and tilled soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is soft, juicy and ready for business, featuring loads of blue and black fruit flavors and a lively skip in its step on the finish.
